New Visitor Information Centre Opened

Well, we've done it!! Yesterday, we celebrated the opening of the Moreton Bay Hinterland Visitor Information Centre next to the water tower at Woodford.
From little things big things grow.
The aim behind the caravan is to gather data to prove ourselves, and prove the need for the centre. Once that has been proven and that we have enough volunteers to man the centre, Council will be looking to build a purpose built building.
We have also brought online the website, http://www.moretonbayhinterland.com.au/ and will be officially launching this in the next couple of weeks.
In the next couple of weeks we'll see the launch of the Visitor Information Centre newsletter, delivered to areas of Woodford, Mt Mee, Delaneys Creek, D'Aguilar, Wamuran, Elimbah, Upper Caboolture, Rocksberg and Moorina.
If you know someone who would like to advertise either on the website, video commercial on the youtube channel or in the newsletter, all the funds will go to keeping the Visitor Centre running.
Any thing we can do to get business to the businesses in our area, we must do, as I think this year is going to be another tough year.
Volunteers at the Visitor Centre are also needed. If you are retired, can work from the centre or can volunteer outright, we would love to hear from you.
Thank you to everyone who has helped get this visitor centre estabilished!!! Including Andrew McCarthy-Wood for the tech help and website building - if your business needs a website be sure to give him a call.
